Steve Sage
I have been an estate agent now for over 29 years working in both England and Wales for independent and corporate agencies which have provided me with thorough understanding of sales and marketing and experiences that cover most situations imaginable. I am driven to provide the best service we can, which means employing the best people available to represent our customers and ensuring that they receive a first class experience whether selling, buying or letting.
Nicola Bullock
Nikki has over 20 years experience in residential sales, working for both corporate and independent agencies and has worked in the Torfaen area since 2005. Nikki is primarily office based, providing support to the team and management of the office. Working closely with our vendors to ensure a smooth and speedy transaction in as short a time as possible. Nikki`s real strength lies in matching buyers to properties and she frequently tops the monthly sales target. A truly all round estate agent with a wealth of knowledge and endless enthusiasm.
Ryan Saunders
After finishing education in 2004, Ryan joined a local independent estate agent and started his career within the industry. Working through the ranks of sales negotiator and valuer, he has gained an invaluable base of industry knowledge. This allowed him to progress to branch manager, where he ran a very successful branch in Newport, South Wales during a highly competitive market. After receiving the chance to progress in a more specific role and further his skill set, he then joined a property auction company, which involved all aspects of property sales, including residential, commercial and agricultural. In 2021 Ryan and Steve started Sage & Co Auctions, where they combine 40+ years of experience working in the property sector. The business has some exciting prospects ahead for 2022.
Carol Barton
Carol has over 25 years of legal experience starting her career many years ago as a legal assistant in a local Risca Solicitors and later changed career to join an Independent Estate Agency Business in Blackwood as the Office Manager dealing with all aspects of sale and valuations. Carol has found that her legal experience has been very beneficial when helping sellers and buyers with the sometimes stressful process of moving house.“I am delighted to be back in my home town doing what I love best!”
Callum House
Callum has a wealth of estate agency experience across the South Wales property market, having worked in the Cardiff, Newport and Cwmbran. He has dealt with the full range of housing sales from high end estates to the first time buyer market, not forgetting New Homes and Auction markets too. Callum has extensive experience from operating within a corporate estate agency setting and has successfully run his own branch within a target set environment to meet the demands of a fast passed & ever changing market place. In his own time he is driven to learn more about the build environment and is currently studying to qualify as an RICS surveyor so he can enhance his ability to help his clients and offer the best possible service. Callum is Risca born and bred and is delighted to be able to work towards helping the people within his local community areas by delivering a first class service to our many clients.
Diane Jenkins
Diane has recently joined the Sage and Co team as Lettings Manager and brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, Diane has over 20 years’ experience in managing large rental portfolios residential sales and commercials sales and lettings. Diane started her property career in Newport and surrounding areas but has now come back to Cwmbran where she feels most at home. She has extensive knowledge of the Newport and Cwmbran area and has lived in Cwmbran most of her life. Diane is dedicated to providing the best service possible to our landlords old and new and her goal is to grow our rental portfolio in 2022 through providing a first class and excellent value for money service.
Megan Gapper
Upon leaving school, Meg immersed herself in a fast moving sales and customer service role in retail which has given her an excellent in grounding in her new vocation within the property sector. Meg has taken to the role like a duck to water, originally working for a property lettings company in Newport before applying to join our group to help us drive forward and continue to deliver a first class service to our landlords and tenants alike. Her enthusiasm and drive to be the best she can be makes her a major asset to our team.
James Davies
James has had a lifelong interest in property and gained an honours degree in Urban Planning and Development at Cardiff University. James’ role at Sage & Co. has equipped him with a broad experience of the sales market in his home location of Gwent, involving all types of properties. Alongside his responsibilities at Sage & Co. James is training through the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors to become a chartered surveyor himself. James is very aware of the emotional attachment people have with their homes and ensures every client receives his full attention, care and respect throughout the sales process.
Julie Ells
Julie started her career in Estate agency working for a small independent agent 35 years ago and progressed to become a Branch Manager in Risca and later Caerphilly. Two years later she decided to further her housing knowledge and accepted a role with a new homes developer as Sales Manager. She continued within this role for 15 years managing developments throughout Wales and the Southwest. This role included managing a sales team, selling new homes on developments, marketing, and working within strict targets and timescales. Julie then decided to change direction and become a Part Exchange Manager for a large corporate developer. Within this role she managed a portfolio of in excess 50 properties at any given time. The role included valuing, marketing and progressing properties to completion throughout South Wales and the Southwest region. Julie returned to estate agency in 2023, using the expertise she has gained throughout her profession to enhance the Risca sales team and its overall value to all our important clients.
